Morocco is an oil painting of a belly dancer’s torso done in my abstracted style of heavy line work. In this piece I wanted to use line to create movement and color that suggests warm light.
This 16″×20″ piece was made with layers of color, starting with yellow ochre, burnt sienna and working up to winsor green and alizarin crimson. After painting the initial shape, I used red and dark brown to define the figure and lines.
Morocco is a 16″ x 20″ gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides, no need to frame! Includes brackets and picture wire on the back for immediate hanging. This painting is also signed by me.
