Found Rose is titled as such because at some point I started working on this piece and never finished. It was challenging to paint because the color was very difficult to capture. Perhaps this is why I abandoned it the first time. In the world of roses, the ‘Found Rose’ is a real category of nameless roses that can be found on the side of the road, in old cemeteries, and abandoned gardens. These roses still bloom and thrive without much care. I thought this title would also be appropriate because I have no idea what variety it is anymore!
