Fires of Alamo is an acrylic painting on gallery wrapped canvas. This particular rose variety has an open flower with a distinct pattern on its petals- from white to red to white again at the tips. It’s not a gradual change but rather a mottled look, which is why I chose to use heavy brushstrokes and wet into wet technique.
This painting is 16″ x20″ with gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted and includes brackets on the back for immediate hanging. Fires of Alamo is signed by me. The last photo is for example only and not to scale.
